Independent Director

During her long career in the investment industry, Leanne Bell has overseen the investment of more than $6 billion in global power infrastructure projects and companies.
Since 2014, she has been an independent board director, audit and compensation chair for privately held FrontStreetRe (2014-2016), Nassau Re, Ventient Energy and Southwest Generation.

Leanne began her career at Salomon Brothers before moving to Prudential Power Funding Associates. During that time, she became an experienced investment and M&A professional in the deregulating utility sector. Leanne then moved to GE Energy Financial Services to lead the development of an equity investment business focused on developers of generation platforms, selling power on both a contracted and merchant basis. As the business’s leader, she recruited and managed a team with technical, operational, forecasting, and commercialisation capability.

Leanne left GE to co-found Tiger Infrastructure Partners (formerly Lehman Infrastructure Partners) and currently provides consulting services to start-up renewable power developers focused on developing C-suite capability.
